Ultrasafe Scaffolding Ltd takes the issue of Health & Safety extremely seriously not just in relation to our own operatives on site or in our yard, but also with respect to our clients the work we undertake for them and the possible risks that could befall other tradesman due to the nature of our works. We are always upfront and forthright with regards health and safety issues and our responsibilities with our clients. Health and safety is paramount and always kept in mind whilst undertaking works and also going forward whilst tendering for new work. We believe our attitude towards Health & Safety is second to none when comparing other scaffold contracting companies of similar size.

Apart from employee turnover it is Ultrasafe scaffolding Ltd’s company policy that all operatives either hold a valid card or are registered prior to being tested on the CSCS Site Health & Safety Awareness Scheme.

Ultrasafe Scaffolding Ltd employs the ‘Health & Safety People Ltd’ based in Sandy Bedfordshire as our health and safety representatives, for two years now we have enjoyed a close working relationship with them. Over the past two years they have proved an invaluable tool whilst we have conducted our day to day operations.

We believe our attitude towards health and safety is a major contributing factor that since 2001 Ultrasafe Scaffolding Ltd has had only two lost time incident/accident resulting in more than three days off of work we feel this is a very good record when the nature of the works we undertake are considered.

As a company we are mindful of changes to legislation within our sector of the construction industry but also to changes to legislation with regard the construction industry in general, we endeavour to ensure that our operatives are trained and up to date not just in current legislation and working practises but also with regards to the tools and any health and safety apparatus etc that may be used whilst undertaking their duties at work.
