Brief History

Ultrasafe scaffolding Ltd offers a consultancy service because: Sometimes when planning new build construction works or planning for works of an industrial or civils nature it can be helpful to project planners to gain an insight into how the scaffolding for a particular project would be approached by the scaffolding professionals and from their point of view how a build sequence is organised with respect to overall scaffold requirements. We believe sometimes this is necessary because scaffolding is a service that is provided for other trades to undertake their respective duties without which most build projects would not get above ground level. Poor planning with regards scaffolding requirements can be very costly and make or break a project before it has even begun. Not withstanding that there are many variables to consider that can affect a build project some of which are beyond any ones control such as the weather. Or the availability and procurement of build materials, labour levels of various trades, programme times, build sequence etc. It could prove an investment very early on at pre tender/estimating stage when looking at a prospective build project to have a professional eye looking over information with regards possible future scaffold requirements for reasons as mentioned earlier but also a quicker safer or more cost effective/cheaper mode of scaffolding a project may be ascertained at a early stage, potentially giving our clients an edge over their competitors, whilst competing for the same future work.

We count many well known public and private sector construction companies as our regular clients such as Bowmer & Kirkland Building Services, Bowmer & Kirkland, Norwest Holst, Persimmon Homes, Bovis Homes, Charles Church. In contrast to the kind of work that we undertake for our more high profile clients we have not left our roots behind and still undertake private household and small build work.

Over the last three years Ultrasafe Scaffolding Ltd has diversified into other associated fields other than the hire and erection of traditional tube and fittings, providing the option to our clients to opt for a system scaffold if the project lends itself to the use of a system. Also we offer our clients light access solutions to general access problems with the use of aluminium towers and other associated products with the acquisition of Ripley Access in 2004. A further diversification has resulted in the provision of fall arrest systems such as safety netting and edge protection systems. In addition we offer a hire and sales service of traditional scaffold materials and some of the other associated products.
